Paul is the Owner, Founder and Managing Director of Blackburne Group.
Paul Blackburne founded Blackburne Group in 2003 and since then the company has grown to become one of the largest, private property companies in Australia. Blackburne currently has $2.35B worth of luxury residential and commercial property developments either recently completed or currently under development.
Blackburne also own and manage a large portfolio of investments including a substantial portfolio of prime residential, retail, office and strata properties worth over $1B cumulatively.
Paul is widely recognised as a leader in the Australian property industry. He has received numerous prestigious accolades including the WA Business 40under40 First Amongst Equals Award and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Paul and the Blackburne Team are passionate above giving back to the community. Most notably Paul is a founder and financier of the Child Protection Unit in Cambodia. The CPU plays a pivotal role in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children.
He is married with two young children and is based in Perth, Western Australia.
John has had over 40 years continuous experience in property, and has established a reputation for honesty, integrity and hard work. Few people in the property industry have such a wide breadth of experience in property development, project marketing and general real estate.
John syndicated and oversaw many of Perth’s leading property developments for over 30 years and, as a result, continues to be in high demand as a consultant on a wide range of property issues. John is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and a recipient of the Urban Development Institute of Australia award for ‘Best Medium High Density Development in Western Australia’.
His name has been synonymous with 163 apartment buildings totalling 5,300 apartments throughout the Perth Metropolitan area. Many of John’s clients and strategic partnerships have been in place for over 40 years, which bears testimony to his unmatched reliability, principled approach and dedication.
Dale joined Blackburne at the start of 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the property and finance sectors. He is responsible for the financial and operational oversight of the Blackburne Group, including leading the Property Management and Mortgage Broking functions to ensure the highest levels of service are provided to Blackburne clients. Dale’s extensive background in property development and funds management makes him a valuable asset to the team, contributing to the company’s continued success and innovation.
Nathan recently joined the Blackburne team, boasting a decade of invaluable experience in the property industry. He has made significant contributions to both the Melbourne and Perth markets, having worked with some of Australia’s largest public and leading private developers. Nathan’s expertise spans across various project types, including residential and mixed-use projects ranging from master-planned communities to large-scale infill townhouse sites and multi-tower apartment developments. His proficiency shines through in key areas such as design and planning, builder and finance procurement, and project management. Furthermore, Nathan holds a Property Development & Valuation Degree from Curtin University, further enhancing his credentials.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys quality time with his family and friends, unwinding at the beach, and exploring the scenic landscapes of off-road Western Australia. With his extensive skill set and vibrant personality, Nathan undoubtedly enriches our team at Blackburne, making him an invaluable asset.
Jordan joined Blackburne in early 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in the property development and construction sectors. Jordan is highly motivated and thrives in seeing projects transition from an idea into an outcome that improves the Western Australian way of life. Before joining Blackburne, Jordan held senior roles at Hesperia and Pindan Group overseeing a large portfolio of complex projects.
Jordan holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, along with further studies in renewable energy. Outside of work, Jordan is busy with a young family, hunting waves or in the garden.
Anthony brings a diverse range of experience to his role at Blackburne gathered from more than 25 years in the property development, construction, and design sectors.
Anthony has a strong construction and development background combined with extensive experience in design and project management. This skillset enables the delivery of the high quality expected of every Blackburne project whilst maintaining our reputation for value for money and timely project completion.
Anthony has a Construction Management and Economics Degree from Curtin University, enjoys mountain bike riding and spending time in the southwest of WA.
Sam Jarman is the Marketing Manager at Blackburne, bringing over 10 years of experience in property marketing across a range of property sectors, including residential development, commercial and retail. With a deep understanding of the real estate landscape, Sam is known for her strategic approach and results-driven mindset.
Throughout her career, she has developed and executed comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Her strength lies in analysing market insights and consumer behaviour to craft campaigns that resonate and perform.
At Blackburne, Sam plays a pivotal role in shaping the marketing direction of some of Perth’s most prestigious developments, leveraging her broad expertise to elevate brand presence and project success. Her passion for strategic thinking and continuous improvement drives her commitment to excellence across every facet of marketing.
Giorgia joined the Blackburne team in 2023 as an Assistant Property Manager, bringing with her over 2.5 years of real estate experience and 13 years in customer service. In the same year, she completed her Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, further strengthening her knowledge and skills in the industry. Since joining Blackburne, Giorgia’s role has evolved into Office and Operations Administrator.
Known for her organised approach, bubbly personality, and genuine passion for helping people, Giorgia takes pride in creating positive experiences for both clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Giorgia enjoys spending time with her two children, partner, friends, and family, as well as relaxing with a good book
James graduated from Murdoch University in 2021 earning a Bachelor of Business with Distinction having majors in Business Law and Finance. Following this James began his career at Lester Group, where he worked on the delivery side of several commercial projects, and also played a key role in the acquisitions of several industrial development sites.
James brings with him to Blackburne a detail-oriented approach, strong financial modelling skills, and above all else a desire to further his capabilities.
Outside of work James can typically be found either spending time with friends and family or producing music in his home studio.
Bianca McKenna is the Assistant Development Manager at Blackburne and brings a wealth of experience to her role, with more than two decades of experience in administration and project management.
Bianca’s extensive background in these fields have equipped her with a deep understanding of the intricacies of business administration from meticulous record keeping, managing projects, personnel and ensuring compliance.
She has experience in the area of project management in building luxury homes, assisting clients with their home building project from inception to completion, including interior and exterior selections, providing detailed documentation for construction and preparing contracts and variation documents.
Bianca has a passion for real estate and property development. Coupled with a drive to deliver exceptional service to her peers and clients and a high level of organisational skills, she is a key player in her team.
In her leisure time, Bianca enjoys exploring new culinary establishments, cooking, cycling and embarking on new creative hobbies including pottery and art.
Paul joined Blackburne in 2011, in the first instance within Blackburne’s investments division. Moving from this role to his current position as a Senior Project Consultant, working with clients to assist them with their selection of apartment across Blackburne’s choice of quality developments.
Previous experience was 12 years with one of the UK’s largest banks, moved into consulting with a global IT services provider. Paul has always had a passion for property & this has assisted him in helping others, whether considering a place to live or searching for an ideal investment.
Outside of the work environment, Paul enjoys travel & has visited many locations throughout Australia & across the world. Family is central to Paul & with five children life is never dull!
Scott has been a dedicated member of Blackburne since early 2011, where he initially joined as part of the investments model in both Perth and Melbourne. Over the years, he has consistently ranked among the top salespeople in Western Australia for off-the-plan apartment sales. This accomplishment reflects Scott’s exceptional skills and expertise in the real estate market.
Since joining Blackburne, Scott’s passion for the property industry has flourished. He is committed to continuously expanding his knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments. His goal is to leverage his expertise to assist and educate individuals who are looking to invest in property or purchase a home to live in, ensuring they make informed decisions while prioritizing their quality of life.

Hugh joins Blackburne as a Senior Property Consultant with a life-long passion for real estate, architecture and design. It’s this interest that has transferred so well into client conversations and presentations to help better appreciate an off the plan buying experience.
Studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property at Curtin, Hugh progressed to work for national commercial and residential real estate organisations in research positions. After venturing into sales in the media industry, Hugh has now specialised in selling apartments off the plan for a number of years.
Outside of work, Hugh loves exploring Western Australia, getting to the beach and long walks with his two dogs.
Tiana commenced her career in Property Management in 2014. Her strong communication and negotiation skills are complimented by her friendly, approachable manner in delivering quality service with a smile.
Tiana’s passion for real estate is reflected in her drive to further her knowledge of market trends, legislation changes and the industry in general.
Tiana is an important part of our team at Blackburne Property Management, bringing a positive and enthusiastic attitude in all aspects of her work.

Paige has been in the Real Estate industry since 2017, working across Property Management, Residential Sales, and Business Development Management.

In Paige’s spare time she is completing a Double Degree at the University of Western Australia in Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychological Science. Indya started as an Inspections Officer and over the years has moved onto Assistant Property Manager and Leasing Executive via internal promotions. During this time, she obtained her Sales License and is now a full-time Property Manager.

After completing a Business Administration course at the beginning of 2013, Tiahn earnt her placement as an office all-rounder in a boutique Real Estate agency. This was Tiahn’s first exposure to the Real Estate Industry where she adapted quickly and grew to enjoy the client service aspects within the industry.
Over the years Tiahn has built on her experience working within Hospitality, Personal Assisting, Sales & Listing Coordination, Leasing, Reception and Property Management Assistant roles. Having diverse experience within the industry has given Tiahn the ability to adapt quickly to many situations and find effective solution by thinking outside of the box. Tiahn’s passion for Property Management lies within feeling fulfilment in assuring a high standard of client service is met, she believes effective communication is of the utmost importance working with people’s important assets.

Miles joins the team at Blackburne with 2+ years in the real estate industry. Relocating from Brisbane and originally from Melbourne, he has past experience in the hospitality industry. Beginning his career in real estate as an assistant Property Manager, he soon transitioned into a leasing consultant role. This exposure and insight into Property Management provided him with knowledge and experience into a Property Manager role.
Miles is results driven and prides himself on his ability to create meaningful relationships with all of his clients. His strong negotiation skills paired with his ability to actively listen allows him to understand his clients and achieve desired results for all parties.
He completed his Advanced Diploma in Building Design (Architectural), providing a strong interest in understanding the design process of the built environment.

As a long-standing member of the Blackburne Finance Team, Aled has worked his way up from an entry level position to his current position of Corporate Accounts Officer, using the skills acquired from his degree, as well as a positive attitude and eagerness to complete his work to the best of his ability.
In his spare time, Aled enjoys watching and playing sport, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going on walks in the hills and cooking.
Jing completed her Bachelor of Commerce in 2018, majoring in Accounting & Marketing. Jing joins the Blackburne team as an Assistant Accountant early 2024 with over 2.5 years’ experience in wholesale industry.

I am a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience across private banking, asset finance, and financial education. I hold a Master of Finance (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Curtin University, along with a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
Throughout my career, I have held senior positions at leading financial institutions including Macquarie Bank and Westpac Private Bank, specialising in high-net-worth client advisory, credit structuring, and strategic lending solutions. As Sales Manager at Yes Loans Asset Finance, I led business development and lending strategy across both consumer and commercial finance.
Alongside my industry work, I have maintained a strong connection to education. I’ve served as a lecturer and tutor at Curtin University and am the co-author of a widely used university textbook on bank lending—underscoring my commitment to financial literacy and the next generation of finance professionals.
Combining deep industry experience with academic insight, I offer a professional and thoughtful approach to finance, grounded in integrity, clarity, and long-term value.
Tracy joined Blackburne Mortgage Broking in 2014 after starting her career in Finance in 2004.
Tracy is an outgoing, well organised Client Liaison Manager who works as part of the Blackburne Mortgage Broking team to ensure that customers loans settle on time. Her excellent customer focus, organisation and communication skills ensures that our customers know what is happening with each key stage of their loan as it progresses from submission through to settlement. Customers who have benefited from Tracy’s assistance with their loans, attest to her helpfulness and ability to resolve even the most complex of issues in a timely and efficient way.
Tracy obtained her Property Management Registration and joined Blackburne Property Management in 2017 as an Inspections Officer to broaden her knowledge within the company. Her attention to detail when completing Routine Inspections is outstanding.
