The first look inside Claremont’s luxury $375 million apartment complex, The Grove, has revealed a new standard in high-rise living, with a raft of amenities never before included in a residential tower.
Resident amenities in the newly-completed complex — where apartments have sold for $534,000 to $7.2 million — include a $600,000 golf simulator, a Moroccan-themed thermal bathhouse with hot and cold pools, a sauna and steam room, a lap pool, a gym and yoga studio, a workshop or makers shed, a kids’ playroom, dining rooms and vegetable gardens.
The resident-only rooftop bars and lounges offer unprecedented views over the ocean and river, while the public will have access to an upcoming onsite restaurant, a GP clinic and cosmetic services.

The complex adds 230 homes to Perth’s undersupplied market, freeing up more than 1000 bedrooms across Perth.
The complex is unpopular with some locals but developer Paul Blackburne said high-rise apartment towers were a vital solution to the housing crisis. He said most residents were empty-nesters who had moved in from bigger four-bedroom homes. “It allows emptynesters to rightsize,” he said.
However the apartment block opening will do little to help affordability in the market with a new Domain report revealing chronic undersupply in Perth will drive the median price of houses to $856,000 by July next year.
Perth is also tipped to record the highest price growth of all capitals in the next financial year with a rise of 8-10 per cent.
