Nathan’s expertise spans across various project types, including residential and mixed-use projects ranging from master-planned communities to large-scale infill townhouse sites and multi-tower apartment developments. His proficiency shines through in key areas such as design and planning, builder and finance procurement, and project management. Furthermore, Nathan holds a Property Development & Valuation Degree from Curtin University, further enhancing his credentials.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys quality time with his family and friends, unwinding at the beach, and exploring the scenic landscapes of off-road Western Australia. Bianca McKenna is the Assistant Development Manager at Blackburne and brings a wealth of experience to her role, with more than two decades of experience in administration and project management.
Bianca’s extensive background in these fields have equipped her with a deep understanding of the intricacies of business administration from meticulous record keeping, managing projects, personnel and ensuring compliance.
She has experience in the area of project management in building luxury homes, assisting clients with their home building project from inception to completion, including interior and exterior selections, providing detailed documentation for construction and preparing contracts and variation documents.
Bianca has a passion for real estate and property development. Coupled with a drive to deliver exceptional service to her peers and clients and a high level of organisational skills, she is a key player in her team.
In her leisure time, Bianca enjoys exploring new culinary establishments, cooking, cycling and embarking on new creative hobbies including pottery and art.
James graduated from Murdoch University in 2021 earning a Bachelor of Business with Distinction having majors in Business Law and Finance. Following this James began his career at Lester Group, where he worked on the delivery side of several commercial projects, and also played a key role in the acquisitions of several industrial development sites.
James brings with him to Blackburne a detail-oriented approach, strong financial modelling skills, and above all else a desire to further his capabilities.
Outside of work James can typically be found either spending time with friends and family or producing music in his home studio.
Scott has been a dedicated member of Blackburne since early 2011, where he initially joined as part of the investments model in both Perth and Melbourne. Over the years, he has consistently ranked among the top salespeople in Western Australia for off-the-plan apartment sales. This accomplishment reflects Scott’s exceptional skills and expertise in the real estate market.
Since joining Blackburne, Scott’s passion for the property industry has flourished. He is committed to continuously expanding his knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments. His goal is to leverage his expertise to assist and educate individuals who are looking to invest in property or purchase a home to live in, ensuring they make informed decisions while prioritizing their quality of life.
Scott’s leisure activities include golfing, walking his dog, and socializing with friends. These pursuits offer him relaxation, an appreciation for the outdoors, and the chance to meet new people and build meaningful relationships.
Paul joined Blackburne in 2011, in the first instance within Blackburne’s investments division. Moving from this role to his current position as a Senior Project Consultant, working with clients to assist them with their selection of apartment across Blackburne’s choice of quality developments.
Previous experience was 12 years with one of the UK’s largest banks, moved into consulting with a global IT services provider. Paul has always had a passion for property & this has assisted him in helping others, whether considering a place to live or searching for an ideal investment.
Outside of the work environment, Paul enjoys travel & has visited many locations throughout Australia & across the world. Family is central to Paul & with five children life is never dull!

Anthony brings a diverse range of experience to his role at Blackburne gathered from more than 25 years in the property development, construction, and design sectors.
Anthony has a strong construction and development background combined with extensive experience in design and project management. This skillset enables the delivery of the high quality expected of every Blackburne project whilst maintaining our reputation for value for money and timely project completion.
Anthony has a Construction Management and Economics Degree from Curtin University, enjoys mountain bike riding and spending time in the southwest of WA.
Hugh joins Blackburne as a Senior Property Consultant with a life-long passion for real estate, architecture and design. It’s this interest that has transferred so well into client conversations and presentations to help better appreciate an off the plan buying experience.
Studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property at Curtin, Hugh progressed to work for national commercial and residential real estate organisations in research positions. After venturing into sales in the media industry, Hugh has now specialised in selling apartments off the plan for a number of years.
Outside of work, Hugh loves exploring Western Australia, getting to the beach and long walks with his two dogs.
Sam Jarman is the Marketing Manager at Blackburne, bringing over 10 years of experience in property marketing across a range of property sectors, including residential development, commercial and retail. With a deep understanding of the real estate landscape, Sam is known for her strategic approach and results-driven mindset.
Throughout her career, she has developed and executed comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Her strength lies in analysing market insights and consumer behaviour to craft campaigns that resonate and perform.

Paul Blackburne founded Blackburne Group in 2003 and since then the company has grown to become one of the largest, private property companies in Australia. Blackburne currently has $2.35B worth of luxury residential and commercial property developments either recently completed or currently under development.
Blackburne also own and manage a large portfolio of investments including a substantial portfolio of prime residential, retail, office and strata properties worth over $1B cumulatively.
