There were celebrations all round last month as Blackburne, one of Perth’s luxury property developers, won the High Density Development Award at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA Awards for Excellence.

Receiving the award for its brand new Aria Swanbourne Luxury Apartments, Blackburne Founder and Managing Director Paul Blackburne said the new complex delivered quality that had never been seen before in apartment development in Perth.

Completed in June this year, Aria Swanbourne consists of 156 apartments across five levels, located within the Golden Triangle, just a stone’s throw away from Swanbourne Beach, North Cottesloe Beach, Claremont Golf Course and Challenge Stadium.

“Receiving the UDIA Award is a testament to the passion and focus of the Blackburne team, and I commend everyone who was a part of the project, from conception through to completion,” Mr Blackburne said.

“Our vision was to create luxurious apartments, but even more than that, to provide common facilities for buyers focused on physical health, social wellbeing, and creating a connected community.

“With that in mind, we designed Aria around a central hub of world-class resort-style facilities, investing more than $2 million in this area alone.”

Completed by Hillam Architects and builders Probuild, Aria Swanbourne provides residents with an opportunity to spoil themselves in unprecedented luxury.

Featuring breathtaking architecture,a six-star fit out, sprawling infinity pool with views of the city and a host of other resort-style inclusions, Aria Swanbourne offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as penthouse apartments, to suit just about any homeowner. During the awards, the development was described as the perfect place to enjoy your own space and privacy, relax by the pool or in the sauna, entertain friends and family, have home shopping delivered or even attend a yoga or gym session.

“With the majority of the project sold off the plan and more than $20 million worth of apartments sold in the last two months, we’ve seen strong demand in Aria, proving there is a shortage of well-designed luxury apartments,” Mr Blackburne said.

“I would like to congratulate the other winners and finalists at the 2016 UDIA Awards for Excellence, the quality of the other developments really shows that Western Australia is leading the way for innovative projects.”

Aria Swanbourne one, two, and three-bedroom apartments start from $550,000 and are available for viewing every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-2.30pm.

Twilight viewings are also available on Wednesdays from 4-6pm at 2 Milyarm Rise, Swanbourne.
