Soon to be gracing Subiaco and Claremont, construction is well underway at Blackburne’s ONE Subiaco and The Grove Residences.
Blackburne Executive Chairman Paul Blackburne said, for both projects, they wanted residents to feel like they were living in one of the world’s best hotels or like they were on vacation every day.
“Each individual apartment has designer details and high-end finishes typically reserved for luxury homes, and they are complemented by a complete suite of resort-style amenities to ensure residents have unrivalled access to private spaces that enhance lifestyle, leisure and wellness,” he said.
At The Grove Residences, the amenities on offer include a 30m heated pool and a steam room, sauna and thermal bathhouse in the relaxation retreat, as well as designer parks and gardens, a state-of-the-art gymnasium and training hub, a pilates and yoga studio overlooking a Zen-inspired garden, a residents’ business lounge equipped with high-speed internet and meeting spaces, a poolside private dining room and cabanas, plus a golf simulator and residents’ work shed.
“Level 16 will be reserved for the use of all residents and includes a rooftop cocktail lounge looking over Cottesloe, as well as a formal private dining room and lounge suite looking over Peppermint Grove to Freshwater Bay, wrapped in a terrace with access to panoramic views of the Swan River to Rottnest Island and over Kings Park and Botanic Garden to Perth’s city skyline,” Mr Blackburne said.
ONE Subiaco’s features are equally appealing.
“Amenities include a rooftop private dining room and a chef’s kitchen, a cocktail lounge, a residents’ lounge, a fully equipped gym with a sauna and a heated pool with a poolside pavilion equipped with cabanas and lounges,” Mr Blackburne said.
Further distinguishing itself from the competition, The Grove Residences is not a cookie-cutter development, but rather presents the option of customisation for buyers.
“Clients have a varied selection of finishes to choose from, as well as upgrades for their apartments,” Mr Blackburne said.
“The benefit to clients that purchased early in the project was the ability to customise their apartments.
“Customisation ranges from minor adjustments and finishes right through to buyers choosing to purchase two side-by-side apartments and amalgamate them into a larger bespoke design to suit their needs.
“For all penthouse buyers, we offer flexibility for customisation with the project architect and offer to provide perspectives illustrating your final penthouse design and delivery of a floor plan and interior finishes selection unique to the buyer’s penthouse.”
An important consideration when choosing an apartment is factoring in location and, in this regard, Subiaco and Claremont both have a lot to offer.
“The Grove Residences is located in the heart of the western suburbs – between the river and the sea on the border of Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe and Claremont,” Mr Blackburne said, adding that the development caught the interest of local downsizers and returning expatriates looking to consolidate while remaining in the area to be closer to friends, family and the amenities they are accustomed to.
“ONE Subiaco is positioned in a centralised location and its proximity to public transport eases the commute between home and the city.
“With Rokeby Road making up its western border, the retail and food and beverage options offer a cafe society lifestyle all within walking distance, which means residents are less likely to rely on their own vehicle.”
Mr Blackburne expressed enthusiasm and optimism regarding the progress of these projects.
“These two projects have set a new benchmark in the Perth apartment market, with quality design and attention to detail on high-end finishes, amenities and services,” he said. “They certainly address the expectations of our clients, which is evident in the volume of sales we have achieved, with sellout expected on both projects in the coming months.”
The Grove Residences is due for completion in spring 2023 and ONE Subiaco in the final quarter of this year.
