Blackburne’s Aria Swanbourne Luxury Apartments won the High Density Development Award at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA’s Awards for Excellence on Saturday, 10 September 2016.

Aria by Blackburne was completed in June this year is a 156 apartment project across five levels, located in Swanbourne, nestled among Perth’s prestigious western suburbs.

Blackburne Founder and Managing Director Paul Blackburne said that as Blackburne’s flagship project, Aria introduced a level of quality never before seen in apartments in Perth.

“Receiving the UDIA Award is a testament to the passion and focus of the Blackburne team, and I commend everyone who was a part of the project, from conception through to completion.

“I would like to congratulate the other winners and finalists at the 2016 UDIA Awards for Excellence, the quality of the other developments really shows that Western Australia is leading the way for innovative projects.”

The Judge’s Citation for the award commended Aria for its great design and attention and respect to resident living and community interaction, which has led to these apartments being luxurious, yet liveable.

The UDIA WA Awards for Excellence program is one of WA’s most respected and valued industry awards. These Awards have been specifically developed by and for the development industry to recognise excellence and innovation in one of the State’s critical industry groups.

Aria was completed in June 2016, and Blackburne appointed architects Hillam and builders Probuild to work on the project.
