The Blackburne name was founded in the Perth real estate industry by our chairman John Blackburne.
John worked from his parent’s home in Mount Lawley and was one of the first to recognise that property management and project marketing was to be run as a business and not as a side line to other more mainstream real estate activities such as home sales which were the dominant activity of agents in the sixties.
Since then he has involved himself in the marketing and selling of some 160 apartment buildings totalling over 4500 apartments plus been actively involved in managing a diversified business. John has covered many aspects of our industry such as property management, strata management, residential sales, commercial management leasing and sales for over 40 years.
The name has been actively involved with Interstate offices marketing of both interstate property to Western Australian investors and marketing Perth residential to East coast investors since the early eighties.
